Named “Florida’s Funniest Person” in 2009, Paul Soleo is a playful mixture of boyish charm and manly stubble. A former English major, Paul’s kindergarten teacher once called him, “the best speller in the class.” Paul studied improv and sketch comedy at the University of Florida, and is a loveable blend of witty observations and goofy characters.
Paul was selected to the 2012 North Carolina Comedy Arts festival, where he was chosen to perform in a talent showcase for the “Late Show” with David Letterman. Paul has also appeared at the 2012 Boston Comedy Arts Festival, and the 2009 Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival.
A former chef and lifelong foodie, Paul shares his passion for the culinary arts through his blog, “The Food Dude,” in which he reviews restaurants throughout his travels (and shares some of his own recipes.)
Paul enjoys being comfortable, and if he could wear pajama pants all day he would, so he does. Ask him how he makes his living, and he’ll tell you, “I’m a writer by day, a comedian by night, and awake by noon.”
TV credits include Fox, ABC, and Comcast.
